Jinn? Options

Hey, guys, I want to start out by saying that this is NOT spell-begging, though it may seem like it.

For those of you who have summoned Jinn before, what were precautions you took, how did you go about it and what are the dangers involved?

I'm doing a paper on modern occultism's influence on literature (you guys were a huge help - just reading through this forum was great... thanks!) and Jinn are actually all over the fantasy world. I'm actually not looking to summon anything at all, I'm not spell-begging, but I want all my bases covered for the paper (i.e. know all the similarities).

djinn are people too, never ever forget that - oh let's say aliens from some other dimension or whatever popped up and commanded you to do crap for them, and cause they had your number or something, you had to obey them - so what kind of protections do you think they would need while working you like a slave? - is a djinn a willing slave, slobbering to meet you so they can be your tool? - is it wise to use a djinn when something else would work just as well? - what are the implications of using slaves in the first place? - is a robot made to be used and abused and discarded like so much trash? - from before, what if you were suddenly the weed you were trying to kill? - so now, what if you were the slave? - would there ever be enough protection?
